Skydiving is weather-dependent for safety. If conditions aren't suitable (high winds, rain, low clouds), your jump will be rescheduled at no extra cost. Most operators offer flexible rebooking or full refunds if you can't reschedule.

Plan for 3-4 hours total, including check-in, training, waiting for weather clearance, the flight up, your jump, and debrief. The actual skydive lasts 5-7 minutes from exit to landing, with 30-35 seconds of thrilling freefall.

Wear comfortable clothes suitable for the weather - avoid loose items. Closed, secure shoes are mandatory (no sandals/heels). The dropzone provides jumpsuits, goggles, and all safety equipment. Avoid wearing jewelry that could snag.

No experience necessary! Tandem skydiving is designed for beginners. Your instructor handles all technical aspects while you enjoy the ride. A 15-minute training session covers body position and landing procedures - that's all you need.

Most Cape Town tandem skydives operate from Melkbosstrand area, about 25km north of the city center. Some operators provide transport from Cape Town. The coastal location offers stunning views over the Atlantic and back toward Table Mountain.

Eat a light, normal meal 2-3 hours before your jump. Avoid heavy, greasy foods or alcohol. Stay hydrated but don't overdrink. Most people handle skydiving well, but eating sensibly helps prevent any queasiness from nerves or motion.

What an incredible adrenaline rush! Skydiving over Cape Town with Table Mountain, Lion's Head, and the coastline spread out below was absolutely breathtaking. The tandem jump was perfect for a first-timer like me. The instructors were professional and made me feel completely safe. The freefall sensation is indescribable - pure exhilaration! The parachute ride down gives you time to really appreciate the stunning views. Worth every penny!

This was number one on my bucket list and it exceeded all expectations! The team made everything feel safe and fun. The plane ride up gives you great views and builds excitement. Then the door opens and suddenly you're falling through the sky at incredible speed! The feeling is indescribable. The views of Table Mountain, the beaches, and the city are unparalleled. Life-changing experience that I'll never forget!

I was terrified of heights but decided to face my fear, and I'm so glad I did! The team was incredibly supportive and talked me through everything. The plane ride up builds anticipation, and then suddenly you're free-falling at 200km/h! The views of Cape Town from 10,000 feet are unmatched - you can see from Table Mountain to the wine lands. My instructor was fantastic, making jokes to keep me calm. Already planning my next jump!

If you want to see Cape Town from a completely unique perspective, skydiving is the way to go! The bird's eye view of the entire Cape Peninsula is incredible - you can see from Cape Point to the wine regions. The freefall is pure adrenaline, but the parachute descent lets you really appreciate the landscape. Professional outfit with excellent safety standards. Book on a clear day for the best views!

As an adventure photographer, this was perfect! The GoPro footage and photos they provide are amazing quality. Seeing Cape Town from above while experiencing the ultimate adrenaline rush was incredible. The contrast between the mountains, city, and ocean is stunning from that height. The staff were professional and fun - they really enhanced the experience. Would definitely recommend adding the photo/video package!

Fantastic skydiving experience with unbeatable views of Cape Town! The safety briefing was thorough and the equipment top-notch. My tandem instructor was experienced and made the whole experience enjoyable. The only downside was weather delays - we had to wait 3 hours for wind conditions to improve. But once we were up there, it was spectacular. The 60-second freefall felt like forever and no time at all!

Skydiving is definitely not cheap, but for a special occasion (it was my 30th birthday), it was worth the splurge. The experience itself was flawless - professional team, good equipment, and incredible views. The adrenaline rush is like nothing else I've experienced. My only complaint is the high price point, but I understand the costs involved in maintaining safety standards for this type of activity.

The skydiving experience itself was great when we finally got to go, but we had issues with weather cancellations. Our jump was postponed twice due to wind, which was frustrating since we had limited time in Cape Town. When we did jump, it was amazing - incredible views and professional service. Just be prepared for potential weather delays and have flexible plans. Worth it if conditions cooperate!
